"Laura Lipscombe"

April 2012 ME Story: Laura Lipscombe

I almost missed this month's story.  I had so much going on I didn't realize today is the 12th of the month and a new Becoming VISIBLE 4ME story is up. That would have been a real shame, because this month's story, by Laura Lipscombe, is really impacting. Many of the feelings and situations...

A week in photos

This week just couldn’t end with mold, it had to end with a bang … fleas!   (Thanks to a neighbors dog … )

Well, no matter, because I am choosing to move through this week and forward!

I don’t know about you, but my mind, heart and soul could use some soothing.  Photography has that affect on me.  Here are some of my shots that I took this week, as well as…

the newest photos I received today of my grand-daughter, Alyssa! :-)

"Alyssa on the Beach"Alyssa on the Beach!  (11 months/5/20/2010)

"Alyssa at Easter"

Alyssa at Easter (10 Months/4/2010)

"Wall Cloud"Wall Cloud – Usually seen before storms/tornadoes

"Water Rising in Tulsa"If  you look real close, water line is almost even w/ground!  Before the recent tornadoes and heavy rains, the river was very low, w/many parts being dry

"New Baby Geese"You know it’s Spring time when the Canadian Geese show off their babies!  I’ve lost count now.  Over fifty and counting!

"Where's the food?"Little fuzzy cause what you don’t see is two (2) mother geese coming after me as I tried to snap this shot!  If I were to title it, it would be, “That’s a big step down, mom!”

"Standing Alone"I’m told this is an Egret!

"Abstract of picnic table"Can you guess what this is?

"Abstract Picnic Table2"Now can you guess what this is?

"Vividly Pink"This photo of a vivid, lush, floral bush from the beginning of Spring goes to Laurel.  Get well soon!

And there you have it.  A week in photos.

Determined to continue forward,

Mo – You know. I never was a ‘geese’ kinda gal, but they have really grown on me. I love to watch the family dynamics they engage in. This year I got to watch the mating ritual – quite by accident. It was amazing!

I came and took a second look at your photos. How wonderful you
have nature so close at hand. No one tried to guess the what is it
photos. The first one looked like behind the metal grill – like a
salt and pepper shaker; totally stumped about the second one.
Are you going to tell us. That would be fun.
