This will be a quick post tonight as I am utterly exhausted and tomorrow I have laundry to do, Dekker needs a bath, and I have to pack for my flight on Monday! Calgon take me away! 
Anyway…
I have been searching high and low for non-toxic or organic mattresses. Does anybody have any information they can share with me. I can’t find a queen size under 1,000! All I need is the mattress – not the box spring – as I eventually intend to get a Japanese platform bed.
Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.
Also, I am trying to figure out what to do for bedding until I can get my bed that is non-toxic or chemical free. Again, any help here would be greatly appreciated. I had no idea this would be the hardest part and the most expensive part!
Well, this is it. I have arrived at the Sunday before my flight. I plan on keeping up with my blogging even if I miss a day or two here and there. However, if I miss several days in a row, know it is because I am a) exhausted or b) very busy! LOL!
I hope you all have a great weekend. I intend on enjoying my four (4) week vacation and the cooler weather on the East Coast.
I will be have my laptop and Blackberry with me so I will be able to keep on top of comments and whatnot so feel free to communicate!

I think Shepherd’s Dream has mattresses and organic bedding…very good quality…this is where my “Woolie” comforter is from. Wool has healing properties…especially when it comes to pain.

Renee – I checked out Shepherd’s dream but besides the cost, I would have to get them into the sun once a year. I have no way to do that (unless I go to the roof which is five flights up) So I think I am leaning towards natural latex/rubber. So much to consider. Maybe just an organic futon mattress will be good enough?

Sorry I don’t have any suggestions for mattresses. Although I have heard that wool mattress covers are both healthy and non-toxic as well as comfortable.
